Preeti Gautam is a visual artist from Uttarakhand whose landscapes turn to natural scenery — mountains, forests, rivers, cliffs, trees and moonlight — alongside minimalist and playful pieces. Under the line “predict your emotion with colour,” her work is really about place and feeling: the stillness of a scene and the quiet mood it leaves behind.

That sensibility runs through her KalaCUBE collection. Meditation Place holds a stillness that, as her Musée Living feature notes, can only come from someone who has actually sat in silence; Couple in Umbrella catches two figures in a private moment against the elements; and her recurring Forest View shows an artist willing to return to the same subject until it feels right. Each carries the accumulated hours of choice — the specific memory that made her reach for one shade of green over another.

KalaCUBE, grown from Musée Living and the Musée Art Café in Dehradun, was built to champion just this kind of independent, handmade practice. Preeti’s calm, emotive landscapes are made to bring a little of that stillness home.
