Chahat Soneja

Chahat Soneja is a digital artist from Gurgaon whose work builds surreal worlds out of vibrant colour and deliberately distorted perspective. “I create portals to awe,” she says — and across her collection, that is exactly what her images do: they invite you to step through, into alternate realities that spark curiosity and wonder.

Working in Photoshop, Chahat treats the digital canvas the way a painter treats oils — layering imagination with personal touches until each frame becomes its own small universe. You can feel that range in her titles alone: the tender bloom of Petals and Pixels and Floral Reverie, the hush of Veil of Tranquility, the raw charge of Possessed and Angel in Tears, and the wistful pull of Escaping the Mundane and Coming Back to Life. Her guiding line — “crafting surreal worlds that ignite wonder and inspire curiosity” — is less a tagline than a working method.

Chahat is among the artists KalaCUBE was built to champion — the platform that grew from Musée Living and the Musée Art Café in Dehradun, made for original, human-made work in a world of the mass-produced. Her surreal digital pieces are a vivid argument for the imagination behind the pixel.
