Snehalata Goyal runs a small business in Dehradun, a valley-city cradled in the lap of the Himalayas, specialising in hand-knitted and crocheted woollen clothes. Working exclusively by hand — one loop, one thread, one deliberate choice at a time — she makes garments with the finest knitting practice and, in her own words, a motherly love that machines simply cannot synthesise.

Her work lives in the tension between function and beauty. These are not gallery pieces but wearable art, meant to be pulled on and lived in. Her KalaCUBE collection spans a Funky Sweater for Boys, a Grey Shade Warm Muffler, hand-knit Socks, a Sunflower Thalposh, a Headband and cosy Baby Inners — everyday essentials made irreproducible by the care stitched into them.
