Story telling....

Read the editorial feature on Jyo Arora at the Musée Living Journal. Jyo Arora has exhibited at Musée Art Café, Dehradun — where KalaCUBE began.

Jyo Arora is a visual artist with a storyteller’s instinct — her own description of her practice is simply “storytelling.” Working across various mediums, she offers no lengthy manifesto and no curated backstory, choosing instead to let each handmade piece stand on its own terms. It is the practice of an artist still exploring, still testing the edges of what she wants to say.

That restraint is its own kind of statement. In her Musée Living feature, a work titled “Stoned Age” is singled out for its wry, earthy charm — a reminder that Jyo’s appeal lies in personality and craft rather than polish or self-promotion. She keeps making, quietly and persistently, one object at a time.

KalaCUBE grew out of Musée Living and the Musée Art Café in Dehradun, a home for working artists whose value is in the human hand behind the work rather than an algorithm. Jyo’s modestly priced, made-on-her-own-terms pieces are a natural fit for a marketplace built to champion exactly that.
