“Work of Realism”

I have seen myself as an “Observer” and ”Admirer” of nature and life which inspired me to express my thoughts and feelings through my art and paintings. My life experiences gave me more insight and purpose to my artworks. My paintings serve as a ‘portal of transformation' for the viewers.

Read the editorial feature on Megha Kathuria at the Musée Living Journal. Megha Kathuria has exhibited at Musée Art Café, Dehradun — where KalaCUBE began.

Megha Kathuria describes herself as an observer and admirer of nature and life, and that watchfulness gives her realism its depth. Her paintings, she says, serve as a portal of transformation for the viewer — work shaped by lived experience and rendered patiently by hand.

She is drawn to faces that carry stories. In her KalaCUBE portfolio, the charcoal Old Man and the acrylic Sadhguru, along with Aoughad Baba in oil pastels, hold a weathered dignity and spiritual intensity, while softer pieces like Lotus, Ecstasy and Childhood open into colour and feeling. Across charcoal, acrylic and pastel, every mark is a decision made by a person in a moment that will never repeat itself — the slight imperfection and deliberate weight of shadow that no algorithm produces.

That human attention is precisely what KalaCUBE was built to champion. Born from Musée Living and shown at the Musée Art Café in Dehradun, the marketplace values the hand and the hours behind each work. Megha’s portraits are singular creative moments, made to be felt.
