Nayna Tuli came to painting by an unexpected route. From Gurgaon, she studied engineering with a business degree in technology, began painting as a hobby, and then decided to pursue it professionally. For her, art is a form of meditation — a source of peace and happiness — and that spirit runs through everything she makes. She describes her work as modern spiritual art: inspirational, appealing, divine and thought-provoking.

Working across mediums with an instinctive, unmistakably human touch, Nayna lets the tremble of a real hand stay visible in her paintings. Sacred Lotus Buddha, in oil, and Transformation of consciousness... in acrylic lean into that meditative, spiritual register, while Beach Sunrise and Downtown open onto landscape and city.
