“making art to make the world a more beautiful place ⛅️ ”

Hi there! I'm Nishtha, a 21 year old artist. Finding fun, love, and beauty in life and recreating it on canvas. Hope my work makes the viewer feel something.

Read the editorial feature on Nishtha Berry at the Musée Living Journal. Nishtha Berry has exhibited at Musée Art Café, Dehradun — where KalaCUBE began.

Nishtha Berry is a young painter from Dehradun working in the visual-art tradition. "I'm Nishtha, a 21 year old artist," she writes, "finding fun, love, and beauty in life and recreating it on canvas." Her hope is disarmingly direct — that her work "makes the viewer feel something" — and it shapes a body of painting that leans warm, personal and quietly hopeful, made, as her tagline puts it, "to make the world a more beautiful place."

She moves fluidly between mediums rather than settling into one. Found is watercolour on paper; Intra, Growth and a quiet moment are oil on canvas; Connect is mixed media on canvas, and dreamin' is acrylic. Her Musée Living feature reads these titles as "chapters in an ongoing meditation on presence and becoming" — a fitting description of paintings the writer sees as made from "time spent, decisions made, and risks taken," each carrying the residue of a real, working hand rather than a formula.

Nishtha is part of the artist community that formed around Musée Art Café in Dehradun, the home base from which KalaCUBE grew. If her feeling-first canvases resonate with you, explore her collection and collect her work below.
