Sai Gurung

Sai Gurung is an artist whose practice resists easy categorization. Rather than settling into a single signature look, Gurung works with a restless curiosity, willing to explore different approaches and let the work itself lead. Everything is handmade, and much of it arrives simply titled Artwork — including a luminous watercolour, Absolute Water Colour — an invitation to meet each piece on its own terms rather than through a manifesto.

That quietness is the point. Gurung is more interested in exploration than in branding, more committed to the process of making than to the performance of being a "maker." Each finished piece stands as proof that someone was there — working, adjusting and finishing by hand.

Gurung's work has been shown at the Musée Art Café in Dehradun and featured through Musée Living, the community roots from which KalaCUBE grew into a home for artists like this one.
