“Currently Working as an art teacher.”
I'm from Bengaluru, Karnataka. I started my art journey as a hobby in the year 2017 when I dropped out of engineering college and then when i started enjoying doing artworks on daily basis i took up diploma in fine arts in the next year, and decided to develop a career in this.
Supritha Sharma's path to art was anything but conventional. Based in Bengaluru, she began her art journey as a hobby in 2017 after dropping out of engineering college. As the daily habit of making took hold and she found herself genuinely enjoying it, she enrolled in a diploma in fine arts the following year and committed to building a career from it. Today she works as an art teacher, sharing the discipline that changed her own direction.
Her subjects move easily between the natural and the tender. Rose and a second study also titled ROSE return to a favourite motif, while Ocean Waves chases movement and light. EYE WITH FEATHER and ELEPHANT LOVE lean into softness and detail, and Girl turns her attention to the human figure. Each reflects the steady, self-taught-then-trained hand of someone who learned to love art by doing it every day.
Sharma's work is part of the KalaCUBE community that grew from Musée Living and the Musée Art Café in Dehradun — a home for artists building careers on their own terms.
