I am an artist, influenced by cityscapes nature, people, fashion, food, and lifestyle. I hope to reach out to a large audience with the color and style of my work. I believe in gratitude that we owe each other our binding relationships to encourage and love each other.

Vinita Chand is a Dehradun-based artist drawn to the texture of everyday life. "I am an artist, influenced by cityscapes, nature, people, fashion, food, and lifestyle," she says, and her work in ink and colour reflects that curiosity — bright, observational and full of place. She hopes to reach a wide audience through the colour and style of her work, guided by a belief in gratitude and the binding relationships that encourage and connect us.

Her subjects read like a travel diary drawn in line and wash. Clock Tower Dehradun anchors her in her home city, while Delhi and Bangalore capture the rhythm of Indian streets, and Goa beaches, Landscape of California and Coral Reef reach further afield toward water and light. Ink gives each piece its structure; colour gives it its mood.

Chand's work is part of the community that gathered around Musée Living and the Musée Art Café in Dehradun — the roots from which KalaCUBE grew into a home for local artists.
