Divyarjun Rautela

Divyarjun Rautela is a young architect by profession and an artist by passion, working from Uttarakhand and always looking for the art hidden inside ordinary things. Having recently started up his own workshop, he approaches each new project as a challenge to be met — and it shows in a body of work that happily resists easy categorisation, moving between visual art and handmade craft with equal curiosity.

His range is genuinely wide. Alexander the great and Adiyogi arrive in delicate watercolours, one reaching into history and the other into Indian spiritual iconography, while the real slim shady is worked in charcoal and dua lipa and awakening lean into digital oil and brush. Even a piece like stachebeiber signals an artist more interested in following his curiosity than settling into a single signature style. Every line and every imperfection is unmistakably human.
